After looking at South America last week and focusing on Brazil, the children were so surprised to learn that we didn't need our passports this week as we had animals from South America joining us here in our own school. What a treat! The children learned all about the geographic locations of each animal and why they are suited to those particular habitats.
This week in our Globetrotters club, children packed their bags, got their passports and boarding passes ready and went on adventure to Mexico. As it was the holiday 'Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead), we learnt all about the traditions that are followed on this very special Mexican holiday. The Globetrotters even created their own calavera skull as a memento of their exciting expedition! I wonder where we will go next week.
