Over lockdown, we have totally overhauled our topic curriculum, which means there will be many more opportunities for pupils to learn about local history and geography. We have painted all our classrooms and corridors and installed some new artwork, which is displayed in our library. We’ve had a running track painted on our sports playground, so children can complete their daily mile (which has proved very popular) and we have purchased two new community bins to help keep our school and the area at the bottom of the school drive litter free. From October, to further develop our relationship with Burton Play, our school kitchen will supply daily hot meals to their setting.
