Welcome to Burton Upon Stather Primary School! Thank you for taking the time to look at our website.  Our school motto ‘where every child can shine’ reflects how we strive for all children to be the very best that they can be.  As a fully inclusive school, we work closely with our community and ensure that our children leave Burton with as many memorable and positive experiences as possible.  Our goal is that all children develop a love of learning and that they become lifelong learners and responsible citizens.

Our team is dedicated to ensuring the best education for every child. We teach a creative curriculum that is enhanced with full use of our wonderful surroundings. Our forest school curriculum enhances children's awareness of the natural world and creates a sense of awe and wonder about the beauty of nature.  We also support all children to develop emotionally and socially so that they are happy, resilient and respectful.  We provide a bright and engaging environment with classrooms that are well organised and encourage pupil independence.  Our school building is modern, well designed and fully accessible. We also provide several extra curricular activities for children to take part in.

Education at Burton upon Stather Primary School is a partnership between pupils, parents, staff, governors and our local community. We pride ourselves on a cohesive environment, whereby we are all seen as working together for the good of all our pupils and our community.
