We all know that a walk amongst the trees can enhance our mood and wellbeing, as well as absorbing all the unwanted carbon dioxide...we really hope our pupils remember contributing to positive climate change, as they enjoy the view of Avenue Wood and the array of trees they have planted over the last few years. Thank you again to all our parents and carers for helping plant our most recent batch last week...

Globetrotters flew to Germany this week to look at the location and how they celebrate Christmas. They found lots of similarities and differences. The children tried 'Stollen' a festive German treat. Yum!

Year 2 had a fantastic time on their visit to Hull's Streetlife Museum. They learnt all about Amy Johnson's life and travelled back in time to 1930 to help Amy pack her suitcase for her first solo flight to Australia.

After looking at South America last week and focusing on Brazil, the children were so surprised to learn that we didn't need our passports this week as we had animals from South America joining us here in our own school. What a treat! The children learned all about the geographic locations of each animal and why they are suited to those particular habitats.
