A very warm welcome to our website. I hope you find everything you need here to keep you up to date with school policies, new events and exciting news! We want this website to become a helpful resource to all friends of our school as here is where you will start to discover what makes Burton upon Stather Primary School such a special place.
Burton upon Stather Primary is a school which is filled with the buzz of happy activity and the warmth of positive relationships between pupils and adults. The children are taught a broad and balanced curriculum by a group of very talented and committed teachers.
We believe that, as our motto states, we are a school where 'Every Child Can Shine'. Our school is about giving everyone the opportunity to shine and to be proud; it is about having the confidence to have a go at anything and having the belief that you can succeed. It is about the fun, magic and laughter of school life and the making of all those memories that last into old age!
We do not believe in awarding OFSTED style gradings to ourself or to our staff through our rigorous self evaluation process, what we do believe in is the constant strive for improvement and always asking ourselves, our pupils and our parents 'So what next...how can we get even better?'
As a school we work very closely with our partnership school, Bottesford Juniors, to ensure that all of our pupils have the very best education possible!
If there is any information you need that cannot be found on this website then please do not hesitate to contact either myself, Mrs Eyre or our school office.
If, as parent of a pupil attending this school, you require a paper copy of the information on this website, we shall provide this free of charge.
